Redesigning the album cover of ‘Dopamine’ by BØRNS was to capture the dreamy and echoey atmosphere of the album.

I toggled and experimented between digital and physical methods, such as xerox, cut & paste, color printing, to create unique typographic imagery to successfully express the music.

As to add a final touch of dreamy, echoey vibe, I placed the print of the type treatment under water, created ripples and took a photo with flashlight. This effect created an amazing visual representation of echo, and successfully captured the album’s musical atmosphere.
