HAIGHT WON’T HATE VINTAGE
Created the book dedicated to the thrifting & hippie culture of Haight-Ashbury, San Francisco, with photography, organic spreads, and experimental cover art.

This project was an end-to-end book creation about a favorite site in San Francisco. As a vintage fashion lover, this book dives deeper into the details of the vintage stores, and acknowledging the rich history of Hippies of Haight-Ashbury.
To capture the organic and vibrant mood of thrifting, I used cut-out and collage method for photo treatment, and used various typefaces inspired from decades of fashion, incorporating handwriting as well.
The final touch of this book is the cut-out alphabets of ‘vintage’ and ‘Haight’, made out of actual vintage clothes I own. This treatment expresses the organic, freeing feeling of vintage & hippie culture.
